Research
My research examines the individual and societal consequences of educational processes. I investigate how educational participation and attainment shape life chances across the life course, with particular attention to the development of educational inequalities and their long-term implications.
At the core of my work lies a life-course perspective on the returns on education in times of demografic change: How do educational decisions accumulate advantages or disadvantages? How do educational pathways translate into labor market outcomes, pension provision and retirement income?
